Glory Academy Tickets
It’s production week for this weekend’s Glory Academy of Fine Arts production of Psalms. The shows take place this Friday at 7:00pm and on Saturday at 3:00pm. Tickets are $5 in advance or $7 at the door. I believe this year’s production will be the best we’ve ever seen. For ticket information, call 910-602-5302.
The GAFA production is one of the highlights of my year at ROCK Church. Did you know that over 40 churches have been represented in our academy this year? It’s not just a ROCK thing. We are excited that this academy is an instrument to bless all of the churches in Wilmington.
I believe in this production so much, that I am personally giving 10 tickets away right here on the blog. How do you win? Just leave me a comment on this post telling everyone what your favorite Psalm is and why.

I’m still here
Writer’s block is frustrating. I feel like there is so much I want to share on here that I get paralyzed at times struggling to know what to hit next. Any other bloggers out there deal with that?
I am sure this monstrous sinus infection that I’ve had for several months doesn’t help me focus. I’m currently on round 5 of antibiotics and am still recovering from the near death Mucinex incident. I know. I know. That’s just another lame excuse. But, I’m sticking with it.
So, here is what we are going to do this week. You ask, I’ll answer. This can be dangerous and I like it. Fire away.
Boundaries? Let’s figure it out as we go along. Family, church, leadership transition, kids, hobbies, faith, relationships, health, quantum physics, philosophy… It’s a free-for-all… You ask and I’ll do my best to answer. (although those last couple topics might not get a very thorough or accurate answer)

Guns + Teens = More of Jesus?
I just saw this article about a church in Oklahoma that had plans to give away an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle as a draw for teenagers to attend a youth conference. Take a look at the video report HERE.
If Matthew ever asked me about giving away an assault rifle for a youth event, he better be laughing. I guess we’re gonna have to call off our Rocket Launchers For Jesus Youth Symposium.

I’m getting a little nervous about our party tomorrow night. With the RSVPs that are coming in, I think we could easily have well over 100 people tomorrow! That is awesome and scary at the same time.
