ROCK Church and Haiti
I’ve been watching the reports come in of the devastation from yesterday’s earthquake in Haiti. The loss of life is expected to be massive. The pain and suffering are real. Take a look at this video from Anderson Cooper over at CNN.
This Sunday, come to ROCK Church prepared to give generously to the relief efforts. We will receive a special offering to send to Samaratin’s Purse. They are already loading a plane with supplies.
It’s time to pray for Haiti. It’s time to give to Haiti. Let’s be extravagantly generous. It’s time for the church to be the church.

It makes me saddened to see the devastation in Haiti, but I know I can be a part of bringing love to those affected. Each time we give to someone, I am reminded of Jesus and what He said in Matthew 25. I’m glad I’m a part of a church that reaches beyond themselves. I can’t wait to join with others this Sunday as we give.
