hello i am a former greek orthodox converted to catholic i want to say i have asked jesus in my heart yrs ago and recently had my husband robert do the same. i had parents who went to church on holkday only and when i was old enough to walk to church i did. i went to a catholic church and eventially converted in 2006. i am a christian music lover and joel olstein. what i am confused about is the difference between catholic vs non denomination and or others. my bff is born again and now that i am older wished i went on her christian retreats… on friday the 13th 2006 i was on my way to work after dropping my 6 month old to day care when a person ran a stop sign doing 50mph rolled me 5 times. when my husband arrived to the scene they told my husband i should be dead and that i am lucky. he said and looked at the truck and said no she has faith and believes… i was at the hospital already… i have spinal damage and perm disable but i am alive today i know for all my faith in jesus… my son was saved only by seconds.. i also was robbed at 3 months pregnant.. and my son was not suppose to be here because they told me i could not have a child because of fibroid sx i had. so i hav had 3 miricles in my life and it has nothing to do with luck. when i was a small girl my aunt who was also converted said i have a special gift of healing and spiritual things but i would not understand until i was older. now at the age of what she was at the time 43 i so understand her gifts i have and i feel and dream things especially for the ones i love and i know if it was not for my faith i would not be here today to tell you i would love to worship in your church which is not far from my home… god bless you all stephanie in castle hayne nc
