God is bigger than an ovary

The doctor just left Jen’s room. It’s been a pretty tough day for her. The pain has escalated throughout the day and she has had a good bit of nausea. Actually, she hasn’t been so much nauseated as she has been thro… you get the idea.

Anyway, the plan is to follow through with surgery late tomorrow afternoon. As of right now, they will remove the cyst and the ovary.

Please continue to pray for Jen, her doctor and the medical team here. Also, pray for our boys. This is a little rough for them too. They are such troopers. But, your prayer for them would be awesome!

You guys are amazing. Just a minute ago, I twittered that Jen wanted a baked potato. Immediately, I had several responses both on Twitter and Facebook. We are humbled by the love of our friends. Thank you all.

It has been very encouraging for Jen to read the comments on her Facebook account and via Twitter. You can also leave comments on this post and I will read them to her.

God is still big. We are small. He is in control.

  1. We're praying for you Jen. God has you in his arms and he won't let go. No worries. He's got 'cha covered. Keep your chin up and I know you'll get through this.
    Christ love,
    Sharon

  2. We have been praying for Jennifer today…Let her know she is in our thoughts and prayers…also would love to send her some flowers..if that is ok

  3. Samantha's third grade class prayed for Mrs. Jennifer this morning and made some cards for her. They prayed for her and for the doctors. One of the little boys prayed saying, "this is urgent.!"
