If money were no object I would __________
Today, we began our first annual staff planning breakaway. We will finish up tomorrow by having significantly planned out 2009 for ROCK Church. Yeah, that’s right… 2009 strategically blocked 2.5 months before it even begins. I’ll write more over the next few days about how we are going about this. It was incredible praying and brainstorming as a team who loves God, His vision, our city and each other.
I sent everyone away with 2 pieces of homework for tomorrow:
- If you could preach three messages or series next year, what would they be?
- If money were no object, what would you do?

In preparation for our 2 day ministry team planning get-a-way I prayed the prayer of Moses, “Lord, show me [us] your ways”. I believe He did. It was a challenging and exciting time for all of us and I’m confident we will see the fruit of His work in us and our work for Him.
You’re a great leader with a big vision. I’m privileged to help you as you lead this ministry to higher heights and deeper depths and a greater harvest.

If money were no object I would provide college education for every child that WANTS more knowledge.

If money were not an object I would do something like work in the Church or for a charity organization for kids or elderly.I think you receive a greater gift in helping others than the people you help do.
Three messages/series would be Faith,Love and Hope as one. Listening. Life is short…love life and Worship as a lifestyle. Thats four but I could keep going but it’s late.
Dude, if I could preach 3 messages next year, I would definitely be doing it on money. First would be the state of our money as individuals. Second would be on saving money, both short and long-term. Third would be on getting out of debt. Yep, that’s my three. So if you have 3 free weeks, I am available.
If money were no object I would probably stay home and get projects done!

If I had to preach only three messages…wow, that’s a tough challenge. Here’s 2 out of the 3…they would revolve around GRACE (everyone deserves a second chance) and LOVE IN ACTION (loving is more than just talking). Just off the top of my head.
If money were no object, I would drill wells in Africa and distribute malaria medicine and food like there was no tomorrow!
