You may remember my post the other day about the AMEX Member Project where I promised Paige I would make a dance video when her project won the top prize.
Well, I received an email two days later from International Medical Corps asking if I would record a video as a part of the promotion process before voting ends. Since I am always looking for an opportunity to make a fool of myself, I said “YES!” I mean, after all, what better excuse to demean yourself than to help feed thousands of malnourished children?
I may not have the blog clout of Ragamuffin Soul, Flowerdust, Without Wax, Pink Haired Girl or Mr. Ruggles. But, I believe we can make a huge difference just by getting the word out. But I need your help fast! Here are three ways you can help.
- If you are an American Express card holder, please go right now to the Members Project page and vote. Then come back and leave us a comment to let everyone know you are making a difference.
- Please consider posting about this on your blog. We need for this to become viral. You can find a load of social media links here to use on your blogs, myspace and facebook pages. It would be cool if the bloggers attending the Catalyst Conference meetup on Thursday could leverage our collective blog power to let the world know. hmm…
- Creative input would be awesome. Anyone have any uber-creative ideas about how to make a viral dancing machine video to help feed malnourished kids? I’ve only got two days to shoot before I head to Catalyst. So, comment now with your ideas.
That’s it. Let’s see how creative and amazing this blogging community can be.

A stop motion dance video would rock! Like this… http://nickonken.com/videos/santimusicvideo.html. I’ll totally shoot it!
