Three attitudes God can use 1 of 3

PICK ME!
I feel like the kid in class who uses one hand to hold up his other arm for the teacher to see him. OOOHHH! OOOHHH! PICK ME! PICK ME!

When I am choosing my team, I want the person who wants to serve so bad they think they just might explode. The kid who is excited about being on the team doesn’t complain. They don’t murmur. They want to win.

When a new challenge, problem or opportunity is presented, what is your response? Is it:

  • That’s not my job.
  • I don’t know how to do that.
  • I’m too busy.
  • I’ve got more important things to do.
  • I don’t want to.
  • Somebody else will do it.
  • Let me pray about it and get back to you.
  • NO!

Or, is it:

  • Pick me!
  • Let me do it!
  • Can I help!
  • We can do that!
  • YES!

I believe God is looking for a people who want to be used by Him for His purposes.

Then I heard the Lord asking, “Whom should I send as a messenger to my people? Who will go for us?” And I said, “Lord, I’ll go! Send me.” And he said, “Yes, go. But tell my people this: ‘You will hear my words, but you will not understand. You will see what I do, but you will not perceive its meaning.’” Isaiah 6:8-9 NLT

Do you have a Pick Me attitude?
