Yesterday, we headed down to Ocean Isle for some surfing lessons for the boys and me. Our great friend Terri hooked us up with lessons from the amazing Marty Mentzer. We had a blast. Noah was a natural and popped up perfectly on his first try. Then again and again and again. He’s a natural. Adam got his feet on the board a couple of times. But the surf was picking up pretty quick. He was a trooper. Next up, Gabriel caught a great wave and rode it all the way in… on his stomach. I love the expression on his face. He was having a blast.
Then it was dad’s turn. Let’s just say that I was reminded exactly how amazingly in shape I am not. Maybe we should have let Noah go last.
Terri and Marty, thanks for a fantastic day. Now I’ve got to take some more Ibuprofen. What did you do this weekend?

Hey Bryan!
Sounds like a great weekend! Sounds like your kids are naturals at riding the waves! I was wondering how your Jen is doing these days? I trust she has made a full recovery? I just wanted to check in and let you guys know that you’re amazing and doing amazing things in this city we all love so much!
