Friday was the best July 4th celebration ever. Tons of friend, good food, laughter, music and some of the biggest fireworks in the history of our neighborhood. Click the photos above to see the whole gallery. Special thanks to Matthew, Melanie & Rachel for the photos. I’ll post more from Megan and Carolyn whenever I see them.
We are already talking about how we can take next year’s J4 party to an even higher level. We may have to change venues. I’m even trying to figure out how to get Mike Edwards and myself certified pyrotechnician with THESE GUYS. Anybody wanna sponsor me to go?
Around 8:30, I counted about 150 people. After the fireworks, there were a whole bunch of people that had snuck in. In all, I believe there were around 175 people in our backyard!
Jennifer and I save all year long to throw this one huge party. We ask everyone who comes to bring someone with them. We don’t even know half the people who come. My neighbors Joe and Robin invited their small group from PC3. My parents invited a local pastor and his wife. People invited people who invited people. I love that.
My philosophy? Go big or go home. I think it’s safe to say that we went big this year. Next year… hang on.

PB…By far you have outdone every other year! It totally ROCKed. (No pun intended). It was so great to be with family and friends and just hang out and the fireworks were spectacular…
So how about that live band for next year?!?
Lisa Junes last blog post..irritated.
