Here is my plan for 2008. These are not resolutions as much as they are driving directives for me.

  • I will love my wife like never before. - Ephesians 5:25-28
  • I will teach my sons to have wisdom. Because, I want them to surpass me. - Proverbs 45:16-17
  • I will do less so I can have greater impact. - Psalm 90:12
  • I will commit to fewer “things” and will not be distracted from my purpose. - Proverbs 4:25-27
  • I will talk less and listen more. - James 1:19
  • I will read at least one book a month. - Proverbs 4:7
  • I will blog more often. - Habakkuk 2:2-3
  • I will take more pictures so I can remember the beauty around me. - Ecclesiastes 3:11
  • I will spend more time teaching others. - Ephesians 4:12
  • I will risk my life and get more than I dreamed. I will not play it safe and end up holding the bag. - Luke 19:26
  • I will enlarge my house; build an addition. Spread out my home, and spare no expense! For I will soon be bursting at the seams. My descendants will occupy other nations and resettle the ruined cities. - Isaiah 54:2-3
  • I refuse to let life happen to me. I will happen to life.
  • My dreams will overtake my memories.
  • I will fulfill my purpose, no matter what.
