The gift of worship
I’m digging this video.
So, what do you think worship should really be about? I hope you didn’t have the words “for me”, “I want” or “my _____” bouncing around in your head.
Feel free to jump in and comment. Yes I’m looking at you. Stop lurking and comment already. Go on. We really want to hear what you have to say.
The problem is we confuse music with worship.
Music is, and I believe should be a part of the worship of YAWEH, but it is not the only way to worship. As much as true worship should be about YAWEH, the music is about us. There is nothing I know of that can edify, and build up a person like music. Except praying in the spirit, but I always end up singing in the spirit, so, we are back to music.
The statement “people leave churches because they do not like the worship”. People leave because they do not like the music. I could talk about this forever. So maybe I will write my first blog about it.

Wow! something so simple that speaks so loud and clear…
I’m so guilty for going and worshiping for selfish reasons.
But I’ve learned through out the years that it’s not about me what so ever.
I still have those mornings in worship where I make about me.
So I am one of the guilty ones, I’ll admit it.
