Let the whole world see…

Yesterday was… indescribable. To see people all across our church breaking glow sticks to symbolize their broken hearts for our city was humbling. As our hearts broke, the light of Christ began to shine through. As the lights dimmed, the auditorium was illuminated with the “heart of God” in us.
Abbye led us in Reuben Morgan’s anthem Mighty To Save as we held our lights high singing
Shine your light and
Let the whole world see
We’re singing
For the Glory of the Risen King
It excites me to see the heart of our church breaking for the lost in our city. I believe the Vince Antonucci hit the nail on the head describing the heart of God in this post. I want my heart to be like God’s and that’s what I want for our church.
Now, get out there and be the light. Invite someone with you to church this Sunday. Pastor Ron is going bring an awesome message and you do NOT want to miss it. Your neighbor needs to hear it. And so does that co-worker that’s been giving you a hard time. Go on… invite them.
Hey Matthew, thanks for these amazing pics. I don’t care what Abbye says, I think you’re pretty cool.

Great pictures, I love Matthew….
The service was amazing and moving and passionate and life changing and incredibly inspiring and did I mention amazing? Let’s do this thing…
What a great message Sunday. Worship was awesome and Ed and I left the Rock, encouraged and enthusiastic about what God is doing in our city. I put our light sticks in my purse after church. When we got to the restaurant I put them on the table. The waitress never mentioned them but she did ask if we were coming from church. She practically invited herself to church. God was all over that. Ed left her a 50% tip and today, I dropped her off a card with our map. I hope we see her next Sunday.
