Lazy days
Today is a lazy day. Eveyone needs to take one periodically. Last night, as I crawled into bed, the realization hit me that 9 people were sleeping in our house. Megan spent the night so she could be closer to the church for her early call time at 5:00am. Jen’s parents spent their last night with us before heading back home to Dallas.
We had a great time with Dave and Kaye on their visit this week. I wish we could have spent more time with them. But, with Jen’s new position this week, we were not able to tear away from the office as much as we would have wanted. It was pretty cool to have them here for the announcement of their daughter’s new role as our amazingly awesome, new Children’s Ministry Director. They were also able to experience the explosive power our July 4th party.

Twenty crazy people loaded up in two vans for Music City at 6:00am this morning. It’s going to rock their world! Matthew has some great leaders going with him. I enjoy watching him grow as a leader and draw great people around him. He has Megan, Matt and Earl going as leaders. Millie also hitched a ride with them at the last minute. How can you tell if someone is a leader? If someone is following them, they are a leader.
Now, I’m going to get back to doing a whole lot of nothing.
